Brooklyn Decker Cradles Her Baby Bump at Women’s Equality Event

Despite being primarily known as an actress and model, Brooklyn Decker is committed to showing women that they don’t have to be just one thing. One of the ways she has done so is through launching Finery—a “wardrobe operating system” she co-founded with pal Whitney Casey.

The Jane-of-all-trades shared advice at a panel event for Women’s Equality Day in N.Y.C. on Wednesday evening. And at the event, which was sponsored by Keds and Lola, Decker also show off her growing baby bump along with her maternity style.

Clad in a modest white minidress with a string of off-center buttons trailing down the torso, Decker looked the picture of happiness as she took in the crowd. The entrepreneur paired her tailored mini with a set of delicate rose gold Jimmy Choo pumps ($413;—Net-a-Porter was having a sale, she explained.

Decker kept her makeup and accessories simple—she swept her blonde locks into a low-maintenance ponytail and accessorized with a swipe of bold red lipstick and a pair of rose gold hoop earrings that read “FINERY” through the center.

Decker, who’s expecting her second child with husband Andy Roddick around Thanksgiving, cradled her tiny bump as she spoke to the audience at the event.

In addition to dispensing business advice, Decker revealed her “life hack” for clearing her mind after a long day—one she’s dearly missed in the past several months: booze! The multi-hyphenate professed her love of wine to the audience (who happened to be enjoying an open bar at the time).

Sorry, Brooklyn! Despite the obvious sacrifices made, the smile on Decker’s face throughout the entire evening made plain that she can’t wait to welcome her baby girl.
