Indian Navy Sailor Abhilash Tomy Who Survived All Odds At Golden Globe Race Gets Nao Sena Medal

Indian Navy sailor, Abhilash Tomy who became the first Indian to take part in the Golden Globe race, one of the most challenging endurance races on the plane has been awarded the Nao Sena Medal by President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday.

Tomy, a Kirti Chakra awardee, from the Indian Navy had last year had faced a near death situation when his yacht Thuriya ran into trouble in the rough sea.
