Muzaffarpur Shelter Home Case: ‘Guests’ Forced Girls To Dance On Vulgar Songs Before Raping Them

In another shocking revelation, the girls lodged at government-run shelter home in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur were forced to entertain the guests firstly by dancing in scanty clothes on vulgar songs before being raped by them.

The CBI chargesheet says it all. The chargesheet names 21 people including the main accused Brajesh Thakur, the owner of the Seva Sankalp Evam Vikas Samiti (SSVS), the NGO which ran the shelter home aka Balika Grah. The matter came to light in July when the audit report by TISS revealed that there was a possibility of sexual exploitation of the girls including, minors, in the shelter home and after that police got the medical examination of the girls in which it was revealed that 34 girls living in the shelter home were subjected to repeated rape.
