Norwich City news: How the Canaries can claim promotion to the Premier League on Good Friday should Sheffield United slip up against Nottingham Forest

The Canaries are in touching distance of returning to the top-flight for the first time since 2016.

Daniel Farke’s side have been the standout team in the Championship this season and have been top for the last 10 games and have spent 19 weeks total at the summit.

They have also lost the fewest amount of games, six, and have scored the most goals, 85.

Norwich City boast the league’s top scorer in Teemu Pukki, who has netted 27 times, and he was named as the player of the season.

They currently have a seven point gap over third place Sheffield United going into the final four games of the season.

There is a full programme of Championship football on Good Friday, and then again on Monday.

Norwich fans will be keenly watching Sheffield United’s match at home to Nottingham Forest, which is live on talkSPORT 2 with kick-off at 12.30pm.

Should the Blades lose to Forest then they know a win in their match later in the day will seal their promotion.

Norwich host Sheffield Wednesday in the 7.45pm kick-off, with commentary also live on talkSPORT 2.
