Pilot Of The Ghatkopar Plane Crash Warned ATC Of Rough Weather Conditions In His Last Call

On June 28 afternoon, a Beechcraft King Air C90 turboprop owned by the U.Y Aviation industries after it was sold off by the Uttar Pradesh government, crashed in Ghatkopar suburbs killing five people.

Since the deadly crash, dismaying details of the plane have come to light. Including the fact that around Rs 8 crore was spent on the 22-year-old plane for its maintenance and refurbishment. The plane also had taken its first test flight on the day it burnt to ashes.

The family of a co-pilot, Marya Zuberi who was killed in the accident alleged that Zuberi was forced to fly under bad weather conditions that led to her death.
