Punjab Schoolgirls Allegedly Stripped By Teachers For Disposing Sanitary Napkins In Toilet

Educational institutes are supposed to inculcate ethical and moral values in students, instead of stripping them of their dignity.

In a shameful incident in Fazilka district of Punjab, 15 girls of 7th standard were stripped to find out who disposed of sanitary napkins inside the washroom. The school teachers were infuriated that girls were dumping used sanitary napkins in the toilet that they ordered class 8 students to strip their juniors and find out.

The Times of India reported that four students of class eight checked the juniors. The girls told their family members of the incident after school. Grandmother of one of these students went to school the next day and complained about the harassment, the teachers turned a deaf ear to her plea.
