Rey Mysterio and Masked Republic are teaming up for a big summer show in Mysterio’s hometown of San Diego.

“Viva La Lucha – Live in the 619” is set for Saturday, August 13 at Montgomery High School, where Mysterio attended high school in San Diego.

Mysterio is scheduled for the event along with John Morrison (Johnny Mundo), Psychosis, TJP, Teddy Hart, and Famous B. Konnan is hosting the event.

Masked Republic is also working with local wrestling promotions in Southern California to showcase their top talent on the lucha libre-themed show.

The show is part of a local neighborhood movement to be “connected,” such as Mysterio spotlighting his hometown with his trademark “619” move.

Tickets are priced from $15-25, plus VIP Ringside Packages are available for $40-50. The VIP package includes a pre-show meet and greet with many of the stars of the event and exclusive event memorabilia.

Tickets are available now at LuchaShop.com. If tickets remain on August 13, they will be available at the door starting at 5 p.m.
