Trigger Warning: Effects Of Global Economic Slowdown ‘More Pronounced’ In India, Says IMF Chief

Even as jobs are increasingly being lost in India and an economic crisis has presumably come to grip the country, there is little signs of relief coming in the near future and the trigger warning has now come from the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

As the global economy is witnessing “synchronized slowdown”, the effect is “more pronounced” this year in some of the largest emerging market economies like India, the new International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director, Kristalina Georgieva was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
